Hello, Spartans! I hope the new school year is treating you well. Here’s what’s on tap for the next two weeks:
US History
We are knee-deep in Revolution & Independence!! We will be talking about the foundations of our great country – the American Revolution, the Declaration of Independence, and the U.S. Constitution!
World History
We are and will be hanging out far from our U.S. borders over the next few weeks as we look at the growth of civilizations in ancient Mesopotamia (modern-day Iraq, Kuwait, and parts of Iran, Syria, and Turkey), China, India, Greece, Italy, as well as the Middle East, Africa, and and the rest of the Mediterranean. It will be a whirlwind tour! So buckle up and get ready!
Note to Students:
Make sure to check out your class page often as I will be adding materials and resources all of the time. Additionally, make sure to look at the RESOURCES page for added bonus items and tools to fill your toolbox.
Remember, knowledge alone is not power. The USE of knowledge is power. Knowledge by itself is like the sharpest ax in the world. It is absolutely useless until you swing it. It’s like stored up power that simply sits there until the switch is turned on. Get the point? Acquiring knowledge is only ONE part of the equation. Using it is the other. Have a great one!
